Norcross to LaGrange to Norcross to LaGrange to…

Ever since my knee/ankle injuries earlier this year, I’ve been traveling to LaGrange a lot to get things done. More than one person has reacted like I was crazy for making the drive for such things as physical therapy, hair appointments, etc. But when I am in LaGrange I can (for the most part) get things done. I can leave Charlie with my parents and run errands, and even more importantly for me, I get to see some of my closest friends, which doesn’t happen as easily at home in Norcross. Both sets of Charlie’s grandparents are in LaGrange, and when they are available I love for him to get to visit with them. Life is so much easier when I’m there! Not that we don’t miss John…but he has had to work such long hours for a while that it gives him a chance to be at work late and not feel guilty that we’re home without him.

So until I can complete a trip to the grocery store/mall/Wal-mart without Charlie having a meltdown, or until I find people to help me at home, I will continue to be a “road warrior” and enjoy my time in LaGrange. Plus, I get to go out with Brooke, hang out late at night with Paisley, have playdates with Mary, eat Big Chic, Charlie Joseph’s and Jin Express…okay, those restaurants should be reason to stay AWAY from LaGrange if I don’t plan on gaining tons of weight!

  1. Hey! I didn’t know you guys were in Norcross (at least part of the time!).

One of these weekends coming up, we should meet up somewhere at a park with the kids or something. Maybe Roswell or somewhere halfway in-between us (we’re in Acworth).

We’re out of town next weekend, but sometime after that, what do you say?
